In front of the Dunai Vasmű building, directly next to Vasmű tér, in Kiserdő, the factory history collection exhibition of Dunaferr Zrt., which is the only Industrial History Museum in the country, can be viewed freely.
The Factory History Collection was created in September 1981 and presents the period between 1920-1980 and the technology of the Dunai Vasmű from 1950 to the present day.
Renowned museum experts, industrial historians, and company managers came from all over the country for the ceremonial opening of the open-air exhibition, and in later years the open-air museum became a popular place for school groups, families and visitors with technical interests.
At the time of the opening, information boards were put up and a promenade was created so that passers-by could get to know the past of the iron metallurgy established in the city. But today all that is in the past.
The forest is the master, it took back what was its own, slowly growing in, hiding the objects, which were also exposed by rust.
